I did same thing me and my party for got put drain plug n I ran that sucker up on the boat ramp turn pumps on got all water out put plug back n push back n water then back on trailer went home messed our day of fishing

This is why you need multiple drain plugs on the boat. Not just one.

I'm always blown away by how quiet modern outboards are. It sounds like all you can here in the whine from the gearbox. I was brought up with 2 stroke outboards where you'd have to shout even if you were only going 3 knots.

Great advice. A hull patch/motor plug kit is a good idea. Add shut off valves to any water inlets. Bring fins.

whats surprising to me is that the Captain of the Grady ever let the boat get in that kind of situation. Solid unsinkable boat. Parbuckling is easier when the boat is floating as this Grady was.

Overrated junk IMO. Call them when you need parts or advice on their older products and they'll tell you it's obsolete. I had an '85 I was doing a restoration project on and they were no help at all.
